Connect everything your team already uses. No middleware. No extra monthly fees.
Solar1 connects natively with QuickBooks, Salesforce, DocuSign, Aurora Solar, Stripe, and 12+ more tools. Data moves between systems automatically — no manual export, no third-party connector, no additional monthly fee.
What disconnected tools cost
Manual data transfer is not a workflow. It's overhead.
| Tool (without integration) | Time lost per week | What your team is doing manually |
|---|---|---|
| QuickBooks (manual) | 2–3 hrs/week | Entering invoices from a spreadsheet into QuickBooks by hand. Payments reconciled monthly, not in real time. |
| DocuSign (manual) | 30–45 min/contract | Downloading proposal PDF, uploading to DocuSign, configuring fields, downloading signed contract, re-uploading to project folder. |
| Aurora Solar (manual) | 1–2 hrs/proposal | Copying system specs, production estimates, and equipment lists from Aurora Solar into the proposal template by hand. |
| Stripe (manual) | 20–30 min/invoice | Creating payment links separately, tracking payment receipts outside the project record, manual reconciliation at month-end. |
These are conservative estimates for a team running 20 active projects. At 40 projects, every number roughly doubles.
“Most solar teams pay for 5–7 tools and then spend hours a week moving data between them. The tools don't talk to each other. Your team fills the gap.”

Proposals convert to contracts. Customers sign in one flow. Countersignature triggers the deposit invoice automatically.
DocuSign
Most popularNative integration
Send contracts for signature directly from Solar1. Signed documents return to the project record automatically. No download-and-upload workflow.

How Solar1 compares
Integration capability by platform.
Most solar software tools handle one part of the job. When you run five tools that don't connect, your team handles the integration — by hand, every week.

| QuickBooks sync | 2-way, automatic | 1-way (invoices only) | None — manual export | 1-way, limited |
| Aurora Solar integration | Native import | Not available | Not available | Not available |
| DocuSign / e-sign | Native (DocuSign + Adobe Sign) | Add-on (extra cost) | Not available | Basic (DocuSign only) |

Open API
Not on the list? Build your own connection.
Solar1 exposes a full REST API. Any system that can make an HTTP request can connect — permitting platforms, custom dashboards, internal tools, niche solar industry software. The same API powers Solar1's native integrations.
- Full REST API — read and write access to project data
- Webhook events for job milestones, permit status, and invoice updates
- OAuth 2.0 authentication with per-integration scopes
- API documentation included with every account

}Common questions
Integrations — answered directly.
Does Solar1 sync both ways with QuickBooks?
Yes. Solar1 and QuickBooks maintain a 2-way sync. Invoices created in Solar1 push to QuickBooks automatically. Payments recorded in QuickBooks mark the corresponding invoice as settled in Solar1. The initial setup maps your QuickBooks chart of accounts to Solar1 job cost categories — after that, the sync is automatic.
Can Solar1 import system designs from Aurora Solar?
Yes. Solar1 connects to Aurora Solar to import system specifications, shading analysis results, and production estimates directly into the project record. When a proposal is generated, it pulls the production data from the imported Aurora Solar design. There is no re-entry of system specs between platforms.
Is there an additional fee for each integration?
No. All native integrations — QuickBooks, Salesforce, DocuSign, Aurora Solar, Stripe, and the rest — are included in the standard Solar1 subscription. There is no per-integration fee and no middleware service required. Integrations are configured once during onboarding and maintained automatically.
Does Solar1 have an API for custom integrations?
Yes. Solar1 exposes a full REST API with read and write access to project, customer, invoice, and permit data. Webhook events fire on milestone completions, permit status changes, and invoice updates. OAuth 2.0 authentication supports per-integration access scopes. API documentation is available to all Solar1 accounts.
How does the DocuSign integration work?
When a proposal is accepted and ready for signing, Solar1 generates the contract from the proposal data and sends it for signature via DocuSign — from within Solar1, without exporting or uploading. The customer signs on the same link. The countersigned document returns to the Solar1 project record automatically and triggers the deposit invoice.
